Medical editing

I edit manuscripts in accordance with house style to provide clarity, consistency and readability for the intended audience. The material I work with is often quite technical and requires ensuring clarity of structure and consistency between text, tables and figures. I  often deal with texts that include statistical data and I am experienced with texts that are heavily referenced, and have worked with various referencing styles.

The medical texts I have edited include medical textbooks and books giving health advice to the public. I also edit articles for nursing journals which often require substantial rewriting before publication.
